Bird nest eggs

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pieces of bread
  • butter

Butter one side of the bread, with a knife cut a 2 inch hole in center and remove.  Save center.

In a hot skillet or griddle, place bread butter side down.

Crack an egg into the centers of both pieces and cook for 1-2 minutes then flip.

Cook till desired egg done-ness and serve with bacon.  Toast the centers in skillet while cooking the eggs for a circular side attraction with jam.
