Charizo Chili


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground Hamburger
  • 1 tube Chorizo
  • 1/3 c Chili Powder
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 small can of diced jalapenos
  • 1 can of pinto beans
  • 1 can of cold water with 3 tbsp of corn starch mixed in, using bean can

Instructions:

In large pot, brown ground beef, onion and chorizo together. When meat is almost done, stir in chili powder. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and simmer till ready to eat, at minimum 10-15 minutes.

Serve with fritos or corn bread topped with cheese.

This will be a thick chili, add additoinal water if you want it more soupy.

Makes 4-6 servings
